happy Thursday!! I have been looking forward to this day for a while now becauseeeeee…WE ARE ON OUR WAY TO NASHVILLE (insert heart eyes). I am SO excited + so ready to take a break from all the hustle + bustle with school + life here in SoCal. I am praying that this girls weekend in Nashville is full of new memories + is super refreshing for myself!! I have so many fun spots planned to go see.  I can’t wait to share them all with you next week!

Today I decided to shake it up a little and experiment with an outfit post! I’ve never done this before and I’ve always loved following fashion bloggers 🙂 since I want this blog to be the pieces of my life, I want to try sprinkling in some fun + different posts along the way!

I recently stumbled upon this dress searching for a fun fall dress. I wasn’t looking for something like this, this color is not something I normally lean towards, but when I saw it seemed so comfy and cozy! I love dresses because they can be the perfect transition for all of us here in California who are still living through 90+ degree weather in November! I want to be able to dress in boots and sweaters but that is so awful when it’s 90 degrees and your sweating your booty off!!

This simple sweater dress isn’t too thick and it’s super soft! I think the color is perfect too, it’s different than the typical neutrals but still easy enough + very fall. I decided to pair it with some sporty adidas and a jean jacket for classes and errands but you can definitely make it a little dressier with nicer boots and a scarf!

Have an incredible weekend loves!

X + O,
