Yesterday I took my family to go explore the Anaheim Packing District with me! I hadn’t been before but I had heard so many good things about it and I’m kinda a foodie so I felt like I needed to go check it out for myself!!
My family spends lots of time together. Honestly, sometimes, I would rather hang out with them than go out with friends on a Friday night. Everything we have gone though together has tightened the family bonds we already had. I think we all know now, even more than before, just how important time is and how important it is to share that time with the ones you love. We don’t always do crazy adventurous things (we love just watching crime shows off DVR or making s’mores), because the only things that matter are the people by my side. My incredibly caring and selfless mom, my strong and compassionate dad, and my loving goofball brother. They’re the people who have helped make me who I am today.
So getting back to the Anaheim Packing District, I made us all go check it out because we didn’t have any other plans and it seemed like a perfect way to spend our Sunday!! I am in awe of the Anaheim Packing District. I was so happy when I walked inside I just could not contain it, so I of course, felt like I needed to point out everything I loved to my parents and take pictures to document it all. The vibes, the aesthetic, the authenticity, the noise. It seemed so well thought out and well put together. I really want to be an interior designer and my dream would be to design places like this for cities. I think it is such a great way to revamp and bring business into an area. It adds so much character to a part of Anaheim that is up and coming!
I was so bummed that we didn’t have enough time to try something at every restaurant because that’s what I want to do. I want to go when it opens and spend the whole day there: eating, chatting, relaxing, spending time with people. I could try a little something from each place that makes the District so unique and special.
What we did try was Black Sheep (a grilled cheese place), The Chippy (specializes in fish & chips), Crêpe Coop (amazing filled crêpes), and Hans Homemade (homemade ice creams). Sadly I didn’t take photos of ice cream because well it was just do delicious and eaten too quickly BUT I did take photos of mostly everything else so here they are!!

The inside!! How cool is this?!?

The Crêpe Coop: featuring my OG Crêpe!
Absolutely the coolest outdoor seating space. I love the “cultivate” and “grow” strings so much!!
